“Unvergleichliche Ausblicke auf die Rondavels und den Canyon! Einige Wanderwege starten direkt am Resort. Das Chalet ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, die Schränke riechen muffig, der Fernseher funktionierte nicht, aber die wundervolle Umgebung mit den Tieren auf dem Gelände machen alles wett. Das zugehörige Restaurant ist empfehlenswert. ”

“The place is good cause we needed privacy and away from town, but the place was not clean. In the bathroom the arr spider webs and ant hills under basin. We stayed for 2 days and the linen was not changed, the was dust on the study table and the pedestals. When you drain water from the tub or flash the is a awful smell dont know from where. But the receptionist Melody, she was the best 10/10.”

“Excellent host and staff are very friendly. Room had the best view over the riverbed, it was great sitting outside in the evenings, listening to the sounds of the bush. Room had everything we needed. Pool was lovely on hot days! Great value for money!”

“The expectation was not as it was advertised. Its a self catering but there is no refrigerator in the room. The building is delapidated with a smell. We ended up checking out early. ”

“Heerlijke en vooral rustige ligging in een chaletpark aan de Olifanstrivier. Vanuit de tuin kun je nijlpaarden, vervetmonkeys, nyala´s en nog veel meer andere dieren zien lopen. Ook veel vogels aan de rivierkant. Vriendelijke hulp. Het enige jammere is dat wij 300 ZAR per wasbeurt een beetje aan de dure kant vonden. Gelukkig zijn daar andere alternatieven voor. We komen zeker terug! Genoten!!!! Ge”

“This property exceeded our expectations. The friendly owners communicated with us through the whole stay via whatsapp. It was clean and had everything we needed. The scenery was beyond beautiful with the sound of the river just outside. Also the illusion of being in a tree house, it was just phenominal. Right on the doorstep of this community finest you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay. Supermarket, car rental, restaurants and safari providers. “The hotel is quiet and nice.The waitesses are nice and friendly. Branda is helpful.Our ranger Clifton has sense of humor.The kids like them.Nevermind is patient and helpful too.Clifton and Nevermind tried their best to let us to see animals as many as they can. “I have not left a review for anything in a long time, but AM Lodge absolutley deserves a great review. I read a couple of previous reviews that made me hesitant, but the record needs to be set straight. I stayed Mar 14 - March 16 of 2025 and it could not have been a better experience. I was first greeted at checkin by Raydene, Chris, and Musa. They had a non alcoholic mixed drink ready and waiting for me, a hot towel, and Raydene began explaining the structure of the lodge.
