“If you're looking for a quaint, vintage lakeside cabin like the one your grandparents stayed at and want to be serenaded to sleep by loons, this is your place. A pileated woodpecker visited the adjacent woods in the morning. The cabin's creaky floorboards let you imagine the generations that have enjoyed themselves here. Excellent communication from the owner. A very restful night.”

The yard was lush, teeming with birds and very calming. The skylight window above the bed brought me so much comfort. There's a beautiful park with a large pond and lots of trees about 20 minutes away, which is great if you're traveling with active dogs.
