“Breakfast was not good ”

“Great service! Lobby was being remodeled but didn’t interfere with our stay.”

“Nice, clean newer hotel at The Highlands. My only gripes were no USB charger outlets anywhere in the room, and the heater sounded like a thunderstorm (lots of howling wind and rain pelting the windows).”

“The location and vista were spectacular. The on-site amenities were plentiful but not a good value for the service. The $200 meal for two served at the on-site restaurant arrived cold and despite fine dining prices the quality wasn’t there. The hour massage for $160 similarly missed the mark for the price point. The room wasn’t as comfortable or well appointed as a Marriott. The view though was exceptional and the staff were friendly. ”

“Excellent--this is an older totally rehabbed motel. If you're looking for fancy or prestigious, probably note. The rooms (including bath) were updated spacious, clean, orderly and well-maintained. It was a nice change from chain hotels' cookie-cutter rooms. Nice to pull right up to the door and load/unload. Electric outlets and USB ports all over the place. I read very good to excellent reviews in advance but the experience still exceeded expectations. Rate was reasonable compared to……
