“The only option available to book was the part of the lodge that was not updated. We asked for an upgrade at checkin but they were not able to accomodate. Instead the front desk staff provided free breakfast for our stay which was very generous. Loved my spa booking and the staff in the spa. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We got the same server, Willi, at both breakfasts. He was so nice and made it a pleasure. Everything needed was onsite. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back! ”

“Enjoyed the quaint little cottage on the River. Close to Wheeling and local winery which we enjoy. Clean and welcoming atmosphere in the cottage and the host was friendly and we had good communication. Pizza Express is just down the road for takeout and we liked their fresh homemade dough.Overall a nice experience at this location.”
