“It is a nice, inexpensive motel. The lobby did smell very strongly of cigarettes even though it is a non smoking establishment. We got two key cards but only one worked unfortunately and we didn’t find out until the middle of the night when my boyfriend arrived and I was already asleep. The room was clean if a little out dated. The plug situation was a little lacking, so bring a power strip with a surge protector if you think you will need to plug in more than two things or want something……

“This hotel was a nice oasis for us when we came to town after the death of a relative. The front desk staff and housekeeping were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is simple but adequate. We loved the cappuccino machine! It was very convenient to use and great for the cold temps. Our TV had a problem and they fixed it right away. Highly recommend this property.”

“Kim is wonderful and helpful! This is a no frills motel. If you want a cheap clean room, a basic place to sleep (bring your own pillow if you are picky about pillows), shower (water gets HOT, pressure is fairly good; bring your own towels if you use/want big towels and/or plush/soft/new ones), and do not need any amenities (no chair for desk in room with two beds, no hair dryer, no hangers) this is the place to stay. Can't beat the price. Stayed two nights last week and am typing this in my room……

“We had the most wonderful time! We arrived during the Thursday dinner and could drop our bags off and walk over for dinner and drinks. We then relaxed outside watching fireflies. My two boys were excited to see the animals and had a wonderful time feeding them and petting them. The house is so charming and exactly the right size. We will definitely be back!”
