“The Harbour Studio is really lovely. Easily accessible. Close to town and supermarkets etc.It was also very warm, and dry despite being winter. The room gets sun all afternoon (if there is sun to be had)Despite sharing access with two other properties, it was lovely and private.I enjoyed a couple of lovely walks along the shared path that runs along the harbour.The standout feature of the studio is the view. Day, night, anytime, you want to keep the curtains open to enjoy it.We ended up staying……

“This is our second visit to this property. This is amazing place with the sea view dominates around say 200 degrees. It is definitely as described on the web site, totally relaxing and quiet, surrounded by great gardens and mature trees. “The property was very comfortable and beautifully presented. The only thing to note is that if you had a large vehicle like a camper van or RV the parking would be a problem. There is a small local grocery store within walking distance (although the area is hilly) and it is an easy twenty minute drive into Dunedin. ”

"I’m not sure if the beds in this motel had been changed before we arrived. When we unfolded the blankets around 9 PM to sleep, we found hair on the double bed, which was really off-putting. I then checked one of the single beds and, upon closer inspection, noticed hair there as well. Normally, sheets should be changed between guests, but since it was already late, we didn’t want to confront the owner about it. We stayed for two nights and had brought our own bedding, so we chose not to make a fuss to avoid ruining our mood. That said, I believe clean bedding is a basic requirement for any accommodation. As for other aspects of the motel—the kitchen was well-equipped with ample space and utensils, the bathroom, though a bit dated, was clean and functional, the stove was new, and the air conditioning worked well. With a child in tow, we found it quite convenient overall. The only downside was the lack of cleanliness in the bedding, which really affected our stay"
