“The Stone Cottage is absolutely charming. My son and daughter in law both had to work one day, so the basement worked out beautifully. The loft and rooms were all cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped abundantly. The location next to Beacon Cafe was amazing, food was so good. Whitmers General Store with pizza and various entrees was a 3 minute walk down the quaint road. As a frequent visitor to Amish country I was looking for a new experience and Stone Cottage was a gem of a find. I……

“We had a short stay during my wife’s spring break (she’s an art teacher). We both fell in love with the cottage and the surrounding pond. Everything was glorious and the breakfast is spectacular. “I took myself, my daughter, my mother, my grandmother, and great Aunt on this ladies getaway. The home is stunning! It was extremely clean and very well stocked (way better than previous homes I’ve stayed in through VRBO). The road is very noisy at nights. Several large trucks/semis can easily be heard when trying to sleep. The only other issue was, we were extecting one of the larger beds to be in the main floor but it was only the full sized bed with a bunk on top. We had two elderly members……

“This property was absolutely beautiful! From the beautiful scenery to the beautiful little cottage! The cottage was absolutely perfect in every way! So cozy and comfortable! Sitting outside on the back deck was absolutely breathtaking and relaxing!! The owners did a fabulous job making it a perfect place for a couples getaway! The owners were friendly and very helpful! “All was great except when we were looking for stay options you advertised pets allowed and it was not clear anywhere in your information that there was a size limit. My husband and I both read closely and saw nothing pertaining to a limit. we did not Discover until it was too late to cancel that there was a size limit. We were fortunate that you allowed us to bring our pet due to it being the off-season. Otherwise we would’ve been out a lot of money.”

“We loved the atmosphere provided by water fountain in the pond! Cottage was very clean and the neighbors were quiet.”

“Owner Paul was very friendly and helpful. Nice fire pit area. Owner provided an excellent Cinnamon Loaf etc. Temperature control in the house was good. We enjoyed the living room area and the TV. The house was very clean. Washer and dryer were nice to have. Beds were comfortable. Good maps and brochures about the area were helpful.”
