“This place was well kept and beautiful in a private wooded area that is located close to so many beautiful sites! The property was clean and the house was very informative and helpful! We loved the wood stove.”

“Overall, the property looks great, although, we didn't utilize any of the amenities since we were only staying one night. Something I wish I'd realized ahead of time is that for these particular cabins, there is only enough hot water for a 5 minute shower. The welcome packet says to limit showers to 10 minutes but in my experience, the hot water lasted about 5 minutes. The bathroom is pretty small, but has everything you'd need. The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare meals. The……

“I loved my stay at Basecamp Lodge (Mount Shasta). I especially appreciated the quietness, beautiful decor, and fully stocked kitchen. The hosts are well organized and reached out on a regular basis making me feel welcome and confident of my stay. In addition, there was a large group at the lodge and I appreciated that their group lead ensured me they would be chill and low-key. (And they were!) Finally, Mount Shasta is an amazing place to visit. I love the trails and the great coffee in town. I……

“Property was spacious and as advertised. Pool was a swamp and uncovered. We were not planning on swimming but this was a potential hazard for our young children. Kids got hot tub folliculitis because hot tub was not very clean. House was pretty rough around the edges (ie carpet stains everywhere, fake wood floor panels with gaps and soft spots, exposed light bulbs with no covers, pool table in disrepair etc...). “Beautiful lake location. Loved watching the evening sunset from the deck. Lots of room to spread out. Lovely quiet neighborhood. I don't recommend trying to get down to the water if your senior or carrying a child. Great retreat are so close to boat rentals. Thank you so much!”

“Clean and spacious. Great atmosphere and property. The check in was easy and hassle free. Basecamp is in a great location. Close to food and shopping, and a very short drive to the Ski resort. We had a great time relaxing. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.”

“We had a large group of family/friends stay at this place for 4 nights. There were several adjustments we had to make to be comfortable but it was an overall positive stay. Although we knew there was no a/c, it was 105 degrees when we arrived and the home was around 94 degrees inside which was too much to handle, so we had to open all the windows and hang out outside until it was cool enough at night to come in. Also there was no ladder to climb up to the top bunk bed and there was a 74 year old……
