“Adequate home. Small but ok for my needs. Did not like that bathroom is on first floor and bedroom upstairs. Air conditioning was difficult to operate. I would use it again fir a single person ”

“My daughter and I really enjoyed our ten-day stay in Granville, along the Juniata River. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful in this out-of-the way location, but just a short drive to town for supplies. The free-range chickens were entertaining but made a mess on the front porch. However, the care taker swept and hosed it off regularly. I would rent this place again.”

“Property was very clean and very quiet. Only a few problems….the toilet seat was broken, they didn’t provide enough toilet paper and paper towels (luckily we had our own) and they didn’t provide dish towels to dry dishes. Also be warned that there is no AC, but they do provide a fan. Overall though, good unique experience. ”

“We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and rode the steam engine at EBT. We have other plans as well but skipped them to come back to the cottage and watch the birds, chill and enjoy no tv. Thy have everything you need in the kitchen pantry and bathroom which has a great shower head with lots of water pressure. There’s even tooth past. The towels were quality and the bed was nice too. They even had spices and oils for cooking. Loved that they had teas and coffee as well. Just show up and enjoy……

“The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had asked the owner if there was a fire pit available, was told yes, but we were unable to find it. We had one issue during our stay, there were no working lights in one of the bedrooms. With all that we still enjoyed our stay.”

“The house was great for our family. It had two master bedrooms with attached bathrooms. Plus two other bedrooms. Beautiful deck. The fenced in yard allowed play location for the kids. I saw on other comments mention of dust webs...true if you look for them... but welcome to the woods. Overall it has a clean feeling. Advice, bring hand towels... there arent any in the 4 bathrooms in the house. If we go back to Raystown...wed reserve this house again!”

“My husband was doing a job in the area with his brothers and nephews. This cabin perfectly suited their needs; it was clean and comfortable and the guys loved being able to relax around the firepit at the end of the day and listen to the owls and wildlife. They cooked all their meals at the cabin and enjoyed themselves thoroughly! Even managed to get in a little bit of fishing at the end of the road. ”
