“Really like the chalet ”

“We chose this place, Glen Eden, about three weeks before a long weekend ski trip to Steamboat. We needed pet-friendly, and this was the closest/least expensive option for our group of five two dogs.After a four-hour delay on I-70, we got to Glen Eden at about 1:30 am and had some trouble finding the cabin -- the map supplied does not show roads and it was hard to see the cabin names at night.The cabin, Columbine, was right next to the Elk River (covered by snow) and has a beautiful view to the……

“It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Close to Steamboat, Pearl Lake SP, and other attractions. The kitchen was very usable. It was great for the whole family plus dogs and had plenty of space. Nice hot tub. I was really surprised at how good the restaurant was. Will definitely stay there again!”

“Walkable to the base of the resort. Large area for meals and gathering and game playing. Great time had by all.”

“So much fun being in Steamboat during the summer. Lots to do for all ages and tons of places to eat! Highly recommend this lodge. It’s close to the village and very accessible to roads for getting out and about. No A/C but no surprise there. Just keep the fans on and windows open! It gets cool in the evenings.”

“While it’s not ski in ski out, it’s only an easy 5 minute walk to the slopes. Plenty of room for our family of 4 plus a friend one night. Kitchen had enough pots and pans but no spices or foil or anything. Not a problem, but would like to let others know to bring salt and pepper if they can or want to. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay here again - hopefully the other units are as good if this one is not available. Third floor was not a big deal without an elevator.……
