“Very nice secluded cabin. We enjoyed the quiet nature filled environment. Cabin had everything we needed for a fun time to reconnect and decompress from the stresses of day to day life. Thanks for sharing your hidden gem.”

“I had such a great experience at the cabin. The animals were loving and entertaining. Loved the carrots that I brought them and Sir Henry made sure I was awake with his song in the morning. I was able to spend my time reading in the sunroom or on the hammock and watching March Madness while lounging in the hot tub. The only downside was the occasional noise of a distant neighbor shooting their gun, but this only occurred a few times in the day. Overall an amazing experience that I would be happy……

“Great little cabin in the middle of basically everything to do in Boone. tucked away so you can't hear any cars, but not far. The cabin itself is very nice and spacious too! ”

“Sitting on the deck we could hear the sounds of rustling wind thru trees, the flowing New River below, and birdsong. Nothing else. An occasional car, some cleanup noise from the hurricane. Otherwise, Utter silence.The cabin was tidy, with all necessary items for our stay, the owner very helpful, a great place for a get away. The solitude was cathartic! Will visit again.”

“The cabin was easy to find and the road was in good shape. The shower has strong water pressure which is not always the case. The kitchen is well stocked. We even used some of the maple syrup when we wanted to make French toast!”

“Terrific place for a family getaway. Outdoor play area and basement games were a huge hit with the kids (5 and 8). Peaceful location close to hiking and a few charming towns.It's worth noting that the upstairs bedroom isn't completely closed off from the downstairs living area, so we upgraded the kids to the master bedroom to help bedtime go smoothly.Definitely would stay again!”

“Lovely peaceful setting on the river, quiet country setting. Access to surrounding towns was easy and I appreciated the list of businesses you provided. The views from the balconies were great as well. Managing the stairs with luggage was a bit challenging. Would be nice if owners could build out a bit of a landing zone at door height for luggage to sit on while you open the door. That was such a tiny part of the visit, it wouldn’t prevent me from staying again though. Overall I enjoyed the……

“Such a lovely place to stay, and managed by such great person! The house was wonderful, the view one of the best I have seen, and Jeremy was great! The place was as shown in the pictures. We arrived in the pouring rain with water running down the mountains and the roads but it cleared up the next day. And parking was so convenient to the front door and shelter! No outside steps to climb! Watching the shadows and fog on Grandfather Mountain was my favorite thing to do. We could see how well the……

“Cabin its spectacular. 360 amazing views. Driveway needs to be compacted correctly it’s not accessible without a fwd. Sheets and utensils were not clean, no trash bags were left for our stay. Great area amazing views we enjoyed a lot our stay. 100% recommended ”
