“We stayed here for the nostalgia, it’s been 25 years since we came to the Thunderbird and it didn’t disappoint! I’m pretty sure the pool was closed then too - but we weren’t there to swim and it’s not advertised as having a pool. We just enjoyed the humor of it all. The room was clean and the guy who checked us in was friendly. If you’re looking for luxury, then pay quadruple the price and stay elsewhere! “The dude the checked us in the evening was super cordial and polite, suggested some of the best indian curry I've ever had in my life, I believe he said his name was Suave? Later in the evening another staff member made me wait about 15 minute to get a new key made to get back into my room while they chit chatted with the customers ahead of me in line. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. ”
