“Lots of flair, well thought out property with nice extras (bug spray, cooler for day use etc). This was our ‘home base’ for visiting the east side of the island and it worked well as a place to sleep. Room is in a neighborhood area with a rural feel. Relaxing frogs and birds to keep one company. Great communication from the manager. Would recommend as an affordable place to stay when doing full day trips in the area. ”

“Loved the view from the living room, dining room, and lanai - 180 degrees of ocean. We even saw whales!!The hosts were very responsive. We had trouble with a bedroom light, they had it fixed the next day. And when the power went out while we were away, they texted to warn us, and supplied flashlights and drinking water to make sure we'd be OK.I can't recommend this place enough!! Next time we travel to Hawaii I hope it's available!”

“Very peaceful, beautiful home.We saw at least 15 whales on Day one from the living-room windows and several more throughout the trip. Perfect whale-watching venue.Easy to get to the Volcano Natl Park from here as well.”

“We enjoyed our stay here. The home was clean, had easy check in and check out, lots of space, hot tub, and grill. It is a very quiet area and with all the lush greenery, you can't see any neighbors. The home is 10 minutes from the entrance of Volcanoes National Park, where we spent the majority of our time in the area. If we come back to this area, I would stay here again.”
