“I used to live in Nashville and wanted a place in east Nashville near where my area friends still live. Walkable to the 5 points area and so close to downtown yet feeling “quiet neighborhood” at same time; this place is ideal if you want something a little kitschy but want the “real Nashville” with a completely different character than the downtown and tourist traps. There was some nice live music one night and more of a DJ lounge vibe in the outdoor areas, with excellent craft cocktails. ……
“We stayed at Placemakr since we had a wedding close by. The location was better than expected but the staff at the hotel made the stay perfect. Every person we talked to or saw in the property went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly!
The room was great for two couples ( with a toddler) and was clean and well stocked with everything we needed.
I would definitely stay there again! ”

“We appreciated that the room and bathroom were large. However, (1) there was a constant/strong smell of marijuana coming from a nearby room that we smelled each time we went to our rental car (our young child was with us); (2) as soon as we walked into our room there was a giant cockroach at the door, and in the evening my husband was up late and said he saw many cockroaches of all sizes come out during the night; (3) it appears there was a partial remodel of the room that stopped right at the……
"Hotel WIFI is terrible, I couldn't even watch a vedio by connecting to the WIFI.
The room has very poor sound insulation. Starting from 9 am, I could hear loud noises from the cleaning staff pushing carts back and forth along the hallway.
Breakfast is average level.
In total not worth the price."
