The room was surprisingly large with a more than spacious bathroom and both really clean.
The adjoining pub/ restaurant had a really good atmosphere with a good range of beers. Staff were really nice friendly willing to help out wherever they can.
I strongly recommend booking a table as from what I could see the place is very popular and you do t want to miss out on trying the food! ”

Critically it had a power shower which makes accommodation for me - the bed was wide and very comfortable ”
“Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. ”
