So clean... not what I would have expected for the first time staying in a place that allows pets. We enjoyed the fire ring with stocked wood pile in the evening and visiting with the horses nearby each morning. The home was easy to find coming from the east by looking up Prairie House Karbers Ridge. The owners were quick to stop by for a minor household issue and were so helpful when we had a……

“Cozy, charming home that is well maintained. Very clean and comfortable. The beds and linens were fantastic. The Ice cream shop had incredible treats, and the staff was very friendly. We would absolutely stay in The Chestnut house again! Thank you for the extended stay offer as well. Unfortunately, we had to get back to work. ”

“House has no visible neighbors but convenient to Garden of Gods and other trails. House has amazing views, 3 bathrooms and lots of big beds for adults. We used wash machine after getting clothes wet and muddy on trail. Kitchen fully stocked for grilling or cooking. Nearest grocery store a bit away so plan to haul in food. ”

“The picture of the rooms does not show the size of them.. kitchen dining has room to have a set down meal for 15 people. The living room has space for all to visit. Bedrooms are very roomy. We look forward to our next visit ”
