“We needed a place to stay in the gap between my son moving out of VIU residence and into an apartment. This was a great home base to visit many of Nanaimo's wonderful parks, beach areas and restaurants. Neck Point Park is within a nice walking distance. Driving is required for majority of other outings. The suite is very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely garden and covered deck to enjoy the morning sun and birds. There are a lot of stairs! “Family travelled to Ladysmith for a winter reprieve and to spend time with friends living locally. Ladysmith is a unique place, centered well between Victoria and Nanaimo. The rental provided all the comforts of home, was very clean, extra bedding and towels (always a plus!) and so spacious for us travelling with 3 teenagers. “We booked this place for a December stay but had to postpone due to a family emergency. The host accommodated that at the last minute and rebooked us for Easter - such a relief!! Our family loved the spacious suite with a king in one room for the kids to share and a Queen for the parents. Parking was easy right out front. We appreciated having a kitchen that was well stocked and didn’t want for anything during our stay. Lovely location on the water and handy to Parksville. Excellent value! ”

“Clean modern suite with well appointed kitchen Excellent supply of cooking supplies, dishes, etc.Comfortable bed. Our only suggestion would be to replace the loveseat as it is the only seating option other than the kitchen chairs and it was not very comfortable and the reclining feature didn’t work properly.”

“Perfect spot for what we needed for our short stay. Was a little loud at times in the evening but we understood there were children upstairs. The noise stopped completely by 11pm. Host very accommodating. Excellent response time when contacted. Friendly. Thanks for having us!”
