“We enjoyed our stay in the Grand Cedar Lodge in Nanaimo. The location was beautiful with lot's of walking paths around and easy access to all the amenities we needed. The space was fairly well equipped with all that we needed for our short stay. The gas fireplace was wonderful to have for the chilly mornings. For those who prefer a softer mattress we did find the beds to be quite firm. ”

“We needed a place to stay in the gap between my son moving out of VIU residence and into an apartment. This was a great home base to visit many of Nanaimo's wonderful parks, beach areas and restaurants. Neck Point Park is within a nice walking distance. Driving is required for majority of other outings. The suite is very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely garden and covered deck to enjoy the morning sun and birds. There are a lot of stairs!
