“The cabin was exactly as advertised, both by Rene and by the reviews. The atmosphere was rustic, yet clean, comfortable and inspiring joy. I could imagine the fun Rene had and decorating. The large deck as an outside room overlooking the gardens and chickens,was a bonus for sunrise tai chi. While my arthritis and traveling body didn’t allow me to take full advantage of the hiking, The sound of the creek lured me as far as the bridge and was worthy of a sketch. I had different breakfasts both……

“We absolutely loved our stay here. There was plenty of room for our family of four and dog. Our kids had so much fun exploring the house and grounds. The house had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen to cook meals. The property was well-situated for easy day trips to Tweetsie Railroad and Boone. Finally, Marc was a wonderful host—responsive, kind, and communicative. ”
