“Stayed a couple of days last week and even tho it's off-season and quite a few places were closed plus there was still some storm damage in the area, we had a nice, relaxing time. We visited nearby Harbour Springs and St.Ignace and discovered some great places to eat and will definitely be coming back. The property is centrally located when I contacted the host about a couple of issues I had, they resolved them promptly and chked with me afterwards to see if everything was ok. Fantastic hosts……

“The cottage was perfect for our trip. Great location, right on the water and short drive to Headlands dark sky park, hiking and Mac Island.”

“Very pleased. Although the mattresses on the beds are very hard. Would suggest the following to make guests more comfortable: hooks for clothing and wet towels. There is no place to hang anything in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Waste basket in bathroom. Fitted sheets on bunk beds. Another chair by the couch area. Stools at breakfast bar nice. Take the plastic off light in bunk bed area. Not safe and could melt to glass if it hasn’t already. New Broom. I will upload photos. ”

“We stayed on the coldest day of the winter and arrived very late. We were worried it’d be cold and prepared to bundle up. The cabin was fantastic! Richie, the owner, lives on site and started the heater well before we arrived. It was so warm we had to turn the heat down! The place was clean and cozy, each room had its own space heater. The cabin was exactly as pictured. It was small but didn’t feel cramped. There was even reliable internet access, strong enough to stream movies on the provided……

“I lost my phone and my host brandon never returned my wifes calls or messages. Luckily i remembered i have gmail on my phone, or i never wouldve got in. Also the driveway had 2 feet of snow in it, and there is nowhere to turn a snowmobile hauling rig around.”

“We absolutely loved this property! It was the perfect space for our party of 8 (4 kids and 4 adults). The house offered plenty of room for everyone, making it an ideal spot for families. One of our favorite features was the 3-season room, where we spent so much time relaxing and hanging out together. The kids' room was absolutely adorable, and the girls had a blast playing pretend there—it was a big hit with them! The house was incredibly well-equipped—I've never stayed at a vacation home that……

“My mom and I came up from southeastern Michigan to explore up north and the UP. Very savvy and thoughtful details throughout the cabin. Even in winter, the view of the lake is spectacular. It was so easy to explore and we loved coming back to relax every evening. We can’t wait to come again. ”
