“Within a two hour radius of this property, you can visit many interesting and beautiful sites. The property description and pictures are spot on. It was cold while we were there and we feared that the school house would be drafty. No worries --- we were very comfortable inside and didn't notice the need for jackets until walking out the front door. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.”

“Well it was a good location upon arrival we found the cabin a bit dirty but within 5 minutes of me contacting the manager they had things back in order. The motel could be updated but the cabin was wonderful. Unfortunately they were doing road construction so it was a bit confusing to get in the parking lot wish they would have told us that before hand. Overall rating was a 5 because we were happy with how everything turned out. We would stay again. ”

“This was our second stay at this property. It is so cozy and comfortable. Lots of amenities. Close to Mackinaw City and Douglas Lake. Paradise Lake provides a peaceful setting to enjoy sunsets. Well equipped with thoughtful details. Great bed and pillows. A gem. ”

“Great little waterfront cabin! We stayed for a long weekend of playing on the water. Access to the inland waterway is only 20 minutes away. Mackinaw only 10 minutes, and a good boat launch right next door. Rustic cabin charm was awesome. Reminded me of Canadian fishing trips with my dad.”

Me and my girls were in between moving in and out of different homes and spent 10 nights here - It was perfect and what we needed during the transition! Being right on the water was a dream come true - especially the views waking up first thing in the morning and then around sunset. “Great experience!! Perfect little cottage for our visit to Burt Lake for a family reunion. Our host was exceptional. Had an issue with the refrigerator upon arrival (10 PM). Called our host and he arrived in 10 minutes and fixed the problem. Very impressive, and most appreciated!! 5 Star experience!! Highly recommend this property and these hosts!! Well done!!”
