“My husband and I took our 3 boys here for a little spring break getaway and it was PERFECT! My oldest loves fishing, so he spent a majority of the time fishing while my other 2 and I enjoyed the nice warm hot tub! I also really loved sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the lake while having my coffee. Gail was an excellent host and very prompt with responses and making sure we were comfortable and had all of our needs met! The home is breathtaking and we cannot wait to come back when……

“We had a fabulous stay at Melinda’s lake house. We came in for our niece’s graduation from University of Michigan and opted to stay an hour away on the lake. Such a perfect choice! The accommodations were wonderful and Melinda is the perfect host. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience”

“It was a cold and dreary weekend, but warm and cozy in front of the fireplace at this home. We had a wedding in this town and was able to visit and gather with family and friends at this home and at the wedding. Communication with host was adequate. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils and pots and pans and even a full supply of spices. There are no overhead lights in this house. More lamps, stand lights brighter lightbulbs would be helpful.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful time, from pulling up in an epic lightning storm that we enjoyed on the porch to sitting on the rocking bench near the lake enjoying the water and swans nesting. My partner kayaked both days, while I lounged and enjoyed the excellent kitchen (remember to bring your own Tupperware/plastic wrap). It’s a delightful house and the hosts were so welcoming. Only thing to note is there are scented sheets and towels, so if scent sensitivity is an issue, bring some scent……

“The place was perfect for what we needed for a girls weekend getaway. The property was beautiful, and everything worked fine. I enjoyed kayaking on the lake with all the gear available. It’s well water downstairs so we brought bottled water. Water upstairs was best for bathing. Warning, there are signs from the neighbors protesting vacation rentals when you come in, but no one bothered us. Property manager was responsive. I would consider staying here again. ”

From the swimming pool, to the pool table, the video games, movie room, chef's kitchen, the choices were endless for every one of family members. The host was incredibly responsive and checking on anything we needed. Thank you so much for allowing our family to come together and actually relax!”
