“Great cottage near the southern tip of Otisco lake, it's a little south of the causeway that divides the lake so there are generally calmer waters. We had some problems with bees the first night or two, but once we figured out where they were coming from, the owners were very responsive and got an exterminator out right away. Turns out the buggers were actually in the wall, behind the siding, but they were taken care of. Overall a great place that was just right for 5 of us. One thing to note is……

“Went up for a fishing trip in fall. Fishing was a little tough given low water conditions. But Erica was great gave recommendations of where to eat. Was available by phone for this non tech savvy old guy. Place was great very short walk to lake. Views were awesome. Very accommodating. Everything we were looking for. ”

“The cabin was perfect very clean and cozy. We loved the waterfall in the backyeard it was beautiful. So relaxing to sit out at fire at night with the sound of the waterfall. Very private area we loved everything about it. Tia answered any questions we had very quickly. We will definitely be back. The only thing i could say that was wrong was the one airconditioner did not cool the whole cabin maybe one in the bedroom as well would help but not a big deal i loved it. ”

“The cottage is gorgeous and in excellent location near Skaeneatles. All rooms were sparkling clean, kitchen is fully equipped. We enjoyed using the kayaks. ”

As a bonus, it’s super close to the lake where you can rent a boat from Lansing Harbor or go hang at the park there - only 3 minutes down the road. And it’s 12 minutes from Ithaca airport. So happy with my stay and I hope to return! ”
