“Fabulous stay at the Montenotte in Cork. Staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were beautifully appointed, with really fun and chic decor; we had lovely views over the city of Cork and environs. Excellent breakfast included and tasty in-house gin for late night cocktails. Easy walk down the hill into city center of Cork and easy to get back to the hotel.”

“Comfortable stay in quiet environment. Only complain is intermittent Wifi connection. Also, if you plan to walk between hotel and city center, it is a very tiring climb back to hotel, not advisable for elderly people or carrying lots of stuffs.”

“Excellent hotel, fantastic location. The hotel reception polite and helpful. Very clean and the restaurant food was lovely. Would recommend.”

“Good acommodation. Very clean, big bedroom, lots of space. If arriving by train, there is a very steep hill to get to it so not very accessible. Staff were friendly, facilities in room were low, minimal towels, basic toiletries, no black out blinds, one bottle of water each for the stay. We slept well most nights, acoutics is very poor so if did get the wrong crowd i could see problems. There was, what I assume, was a child in the room above us and in morning and evenings the ceiling nearly came……

“Sehr herziges Hotel in einem alten Haus, welches sehr stilvoll eingerichtet ist. Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten und auch das Zimmer war sehr herzig mit Kaffee/Tee-Zubereitungsmöglichkeit. Das kontinentale, kalte Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig mit sogar frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Vor dem Hotel hat es Parkplätze und ins Dorf sind es 15 Minuten Fussmarsch. Eine vielseitige Restaurantauswahl hat es dort jedoch nicht. ”
