“This is my 3rd time staying in this exact same cabin. I lived in the area years ago and this cabin is located exactly in the middle of everywhere I like to go. The host, Allison, is wonderful. Always a pleasure. Hope to be back this fall! ”

“This was the perfect place for me to stay while visiting southern Illinois. The cabin is located in a private area, but it's just a quick drive to Marion, which allows for numerous food, drinks, and fun. I loved the decor and atmosphere of the cabin - it also provided all of the things needed to cook meals, etc. I'd recommend this property to anyone!”

“We rented all 3 cabins and had a great vacation here. The cabins are small but very nice, and each has a nice deck and wraparound porch. Private pond to swim whenever we wanted, nicely maintained property, and lots of outdoor fun to be had in the area.”

“The house was great and conveniently located 2 lots away from the wedding venue. Roomy enough for 2 adults, 18yo, 17yo, 13yo. The owners were gracious enough to let us check in early to change prior to the wedding. ”

“Our family stayed at this lakefront property for a short weekend getaway to do some hiking near Garden of the Gods. The property was clean and spacious with plenty of activities for the kids and room for everyone to have their own privacy as well. Would recommend this place for small groups or families! ”

“We had a blast at this comfortable home. We didn’t so much but lounge around, playing games and eating. The kitchen was well stocked and we never felt like we didn’t have anything we needed. The bath towels were luxurious and not those thin towels hotels use. Would have liked a softer lamp or something in the living room as the only light came from the overhead ceiling fans. I can see where this place would be great for a summer vacation!”

“We booked a long weekend here for my dad’s 70th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The home has been nicely updated but still contained plenty of original touches that have it character. The outside space was great! We spent a lot of time on the deck, used the grill and fire pit, and of course the lake! We were very impressed with all of the lake toys the shed offered, especially the kayaks. The inside was set up perfectly for our group and our teenager appreciated her own space……

“This is my 3rd stay here in the last 6 months. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The room is big and clean. The bed is comfortable and I felt safe parking my luxury vehicle here. Although there are big rigs near by it doesn’t cause much noise or loitering from vagrants. I WILL BE BACK IN A MONTH!!!! A rating for this place Btw I do swing for the King Jacuzzi suite each time. Even offered me my regular room since the reservation didn’t show. I declined got room across the hall that was just……
