If you're looking for a nicely updated, pet friendly vacation rental, look no further! Check out this 2nd floor, 3-bedroom / 2-bathroom suite located just a block away from the Garden City Pier in Garden City Beach, SC. This 3-bedroom apartment is fully furnished with 2 queen beds, 1 twin bed, 1 queen sleeper sofa, dressers and closets for storage, dining table and chairs, Smart TVs, free wifi, private bathrooms with shower and vanity, full size fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen sink, and more! The space is perfect for multiple couples, friends, or a family getaway! Aside from the beautiful updates, our guests will certainly enjoy the proximity to the beach, Garden City Pier, bars, restaurants, and so much more. As of Winter 2022, this condo features some really nice updates! Recent updates include new LVP flooring, new furniture, new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, new appliances, new microwave, new kitchen backsplash, custom tiled showers, new bathroom vanities, fresh paint, and more!

Guests will enter the apartment on the second floor; just a few stairs up to the unit. This unit is located directly above The Garden City Beach Bar, and access to the apartment can be found at the back of the building. Upon entering, guests will enter into a hallway area where the first bedroom will be found straight ahead. The first bedroom offers a queen bed, night stands, TV, dresser, overhead light, and closet for storage.

The oversized kitchen is centrally located in the apartment and features all new, full size appliances that include a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, toaster, and kitchen sink. Guests will enjoy an oversized island with bar stools, granite countertops, and more. We provide all basic cookware and kitchenware, and everything you need to prepare a meal will be stocked in the cabinets for you! For guests who prefer to dine out, Garden City has hundreds of incredible dining options within a short drive or Uber. Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, and Grubhub have become very popular and convenient options as well. Just off from the kitchen and centrally located in the apartment, guests will find a newly updated, full-size bathroom. The bathroom has been completely renovated as of Winter 2022 and features a vanity with sink, mirror, toilet, custom tiled shower, and more. There is a washer and dryer located in the closet just outside of this bathroom. Moving through the apartment, the living area is found in the center of the apartment. The living room features a queen sleeper sofa, accent chairs, modern decor, and easy access to the kitchen and bedrooms. Just off from the living rooms, guests will have access to the second bathroom. This bathroom has also been completely renovated as of Winter 2022 and features a vanity with sink, mirror, toilet, custom tiled shower, and more. The second and third bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment. The second bedroom features a queen bed, night stand, dresser, TV, overhead light and fan, closet for storage, and window with natural lighting. The third bedroom is just beside this one and features a twin bed, dresser, TV, closet, and window. The third bedroom is much smaller than the others, but still spacious enough for 1 guest.

Have a fur baby? Yes, they are welcome too! Our guests are able to bring up to 2 pets (dog or cat) with a $100 paid pet fee. When making your reservation, please select '1 Pet' even if you plan to bring two pets. This is because the $100 fee is a flat charge and does not depend on the number of pets accompanying you. Choosing '1 Pet' will ensure that the correct fee is applied to your booking. To keep this rental maintained as good as possible, we do ask that pets not be allowed on the sofa or living room furniture. In addition, when guests leave, we do ask that the pets be crated until their owners return. This is important not only for the care of the property, but also for vendors, pest control, maintenance, and housekeeping personnel who may need to enter the property. Vendors may not be able to provide necessary services if pets are not crated, and we appreciate your understanding!

Be sure to pack light! All towels, toiletries, bedding, and linens are provided. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. We also provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths per bathroom.

Guests will be charged a small cleaning fee, and the departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and bedding. We truly want to make your experience with us as affordable as possible! If desired, we can accommodate daily housekeeping or mid staying cleaning requests for a small fee. Just let us know what you need and we'll be happy to work with you!

Guests should be advised that this is a non-smoking rental. Smoking is prohibited in the condo. Should any smoking occur, the full amount of the security deposit will be retained and other charges may be applied. We believe in full transparency, and it's important that we are clear on what guests should expect when booking this property. This rental is located directly above a small local bar. As a result, music can often be heard, and smoke odors may linger into this apartment. This rental may not be a good fit for guests who are sensitive to smoke odors or may be disturbed by music from the bar. Inside the apartment, many updates have been made, and many areas of the rental are truly special. As with all rentals, cosmetic wear and tear is to be expected. Parking is first-come, first-serve, and there are several open spaces around the complex. Parking spaces may or may not be immediately available, and guests may have to park at open spaces around the complex. This is a very tropical and sandy area. We will do our absolute best to make sure the floors are swept and mopped prior to your arrival.

Could not sleep due to loud music and singing past 3:00 am. Did not get access until after check in with no instructions on how to use lock. Outside light not working. Sofa dirty no glasses. Left after first night. If you like basically sleeping in a very loud bar with karaoke it is the place to stay!!!!

This is one of the cheapest listings in the area. This is not a high end beach front condo, it’s on top of a local bar that will be up and lively until 1-2am some nights!! Our only complaint was that this place needs a deep clean, the bathrooms were the only clean-ish rooms. If you’re into it… you could walk barefoot in in this olace, but I wouldn’t!!

This unit is great for a good few days of a good time for the guys or maybe even the girls. Directly over a Bar as stated but that can have its pros and cons. Not a spot I would take the Family with the location being above a bar. The actual location is great though for walking around to restaurants and the pier.. Overall, I would stay here again but I do wish they would find a better cleaning crew and stock the kitchen with more cooking ware like a decent frying pan.

I am not one that normally writes reviews, but I can’t in good conscious let others rent here without knowing what they are getting. I feel like this listing should not be rented out until the place is improved. We knew about the location above a bar and for our girls weekend we were completely fine with that! Our issues were that when we walked in all the blinds were broken, there were piles of sand under the table and chairs (which led us to believe it hadn’t been cleaned), the beds had dog hair in the “clean sheets”, and some questionable stains on the couch. We didn’t feel comfortable sleeping under the covers so we all went and bought blankets to sleep on top of the beds. Then that night we discovered roaches. They were in the bathroom and kitchen. The flooring in the bathroom has had some significant water damage because the wood was buckling. The first night we were there we had two separate men at different times of the night come up to our room thinking they could get in from the outdoor bar below, so I feel like there should be signs that state that this property is “private property”. It just put a damper on our girl’s weekend. Would not stay here again.

Our close group of girls take a beach trip at least once a year and this is the perfect spot! Everything you need is in this unit. The location is fantastic. Yes, it is above a bar but for us, that is exactly what we wanted! We were able to walk to everything with ease, never had to drive anywhere. The deck was a nice add too.

The place smelled like smoke from the bar downstairs. The floor was not clean upon arrival, ands climbing up the walls and top of refrigerator was extremely dirty.

I did not read closely when booking the room. The bar below the apartment is smoking bar so you can smell it in the room. The music was so loud we could not get any rest until after 2:30am. The only person in my group that got any sleep slept in the truck out in the dirt parking area. In the defense of the property management it is in the listing but when I called to see about getting out or another place I was told no chance because it is in the listing. I stay in hotels and places like this over 220 days a year and this is the first time I have had to leave a negative review. I just call it a learning experience and I booked another place after the first night of our week stay.

This rental is described perfectly by the renters. Very clean, Has some remodeling still to be done, but overall very clean and efficient. The bar located directly below this rental closes at 2am. Very loud til then, so prepare for this. Other than that location to the beach and everything happening in Garden City is a very short walk. Would definetly rent again.
