I also like the fact that inside the hotel, there was a small area where you can purchase locally made goods and that they had an honesty bar where you could buy items for consumption. The hotel itself isn’t a very good location, walking distance to the monastery, restaurants, and shops. We were in room 503 which overlooked the monastery and I have to say it was a truly a beautiful site. We definitely took advantage……

“The Sao Jose hotel is very close to the Fatima Sanctuary and has restaurants and souvenir & coffee shops next door. The hotel itself has a restaurant and souvenirs as well, but the hours open may differ. Our rooms were very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Our check in went smoothly. I highly recommend this property for pilgrims and those visiting the area. A shout out to Vera for her warm hospitality. They have bicycles for rent and also offer candles to purchase for the……
