“Was a fantastic few days at a beautiful spot. Was cozy and rustic as expected and lovely. Stayed in July and the cove had a nice wind tunnel effect and the cottage had windows on both sides which kept a nice breeze. Swimming was great with a soft sandy entry (some leaves but not weedy). Had very quick and detailed responses when any questions came up for the hosts. We had a great time and would come back again without hesitation. ”

“This is a beautiful cottage, clean, spacious and has a good size property with many trees which allows for privacy. The waterfront is beautiful, walk in shoreline and a dock. I would definitely stay here again. The host accommodated me and made sure everything was scent free which is very nice because many rentals say it will be scent free but isn’t. ”

“What an awesome experience. Shavanna is an awesome host with great communication. Right on the water, lake is great for swimming, close to Port Carling. We absolutely loved it. ”

“The property and cottage were well maintained and overall we enjoyed our stay. The ad stated that there would be an additional charge for pets without a value. Upon reaching out it was not clarified and ended up being $75 per dog on arrival. It would be appreciated if that was communicated prior. Our initial greetings with the host were rushed and there were errors with the wifi connection effecting our payment. The host persisted that I must use another form of payment while standing outside……

“We had a great time during our stay. The cottage is bright, very well appointed, clean and comfortable. The deck and dock were great locations to have our morning cup of coffee and we even made friends with a family of ducks. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to get away while still being close to Port Carling and Bracebridge. ”
