“Everything were fine. only one drawback: the music of the hotel bar is incredibly noisy, which made me couldn't sleep. I complained to front desk, and they switched off the music.”

“The hotel apartment is ideal for family of 4-5 on a budget. The rooms are large and it has more of an apartment feel vs a hotel. Service is decent though housekeeping is alternate days. Food options are excellent especially Indian restaurants in 2 minute walking distance (Cochin restaurant). The location enables easy 10 minute access to Mutrah souq and many attractions of Muscat. ”

“The staff were all kind and it was a comfortable hotel. There was an Indian restaurant on-site so there was no problem with food, and the location was good, just 15-20 minutes walk from Mutrah Souq. As it is an old hotel, the toilets and shower rooms were a bit dirty. Overall, it was excellent value for money.”

“Mutrah central location is great for the touristic activities. For the remote Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the reception was helpful in arranging a taxi. As the other review wrote, basement bar noise continued around 4 a.m. though I was on the 4th floor and the noise might have been bearable somehow. The reception seemed not familiar to the Expedia pre-payment arrangement. So, you may be better to have your Expedia booking confirmation handy. Hot shower needed more than 5 minutes to come out.
