“If you need a place to unwind with your family with incredible sunset views, easy to access day trips in the area, and have all of the amenities of home, this is the place. We loved the sunset views! The kids enjoyed using the kayaks, and the adults loved the sauna. The screened in porch was a beautiful place for our grandma to sit and watch the kids play all day. We want to return again next year!”

“The place was even better than described! Happily there were two queen bedrooms. Third bedroom had a twin bed plus a bunk bed with top twin and bottom double. Beds were soft and comfy. The kitchen had everything I'd want except for a dishwasher. Loved the outdoor wood Michigan shaped chairs and UP shaped drink table. My personal favorite was the spotting scope set up on tripod in the living room bay window. I really enjoyed the bird watching and changing views of the lake and sunrises!”

“This place has everything you want and more. So many windows to view the lake, hot tub, beach. Everything is top notch and well done. This has to be one of the best stocked vacation homes we have stayed in. ”

“Because another property cancelled we had to scramble to find 4th of July accommodations near Gladstone. We got really lucky and found this cottage. Easy location, close to town, quite from fireworks. Worked great for day trips up to Lake Superior as well. The hot tub came in handy after hiking at Pictured Rocks. ”

“My family stayed 4 nights at this cabin on Gooseneck lake. There are so many things we loved about staying here - the sandy beach, the kayaks, the toys (both inside and outside), the outdoor bar, the fire pit, the bounce house (!), and the dock. It's a very peaceful vacation spot. It was also very very clean (especially for a cabin with a sandy beach). The sandy beach is very nice but once your are in the water, it is 6 inches of muck. The kind of muck that swallows a croc and takes 20 minutes……

“Thank you for having the perfect home for our family of 8 adults age ranging from 87 to 22. We all enjoyed our morning coffee looking at the open water. We enjoyed the property with swimming, kayaking or playing lawn games as we waited for the beautiful sun sets. The garage was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the July weather not exceed 75 degrees. Our family also enjoyed Fayette State park for its beautiful quiet beach and Historic ghost town. We also enjoyed the local restaurant “the Dock……
