“Great location on the western side of Round Lake, making it a short drive into Hayward. Easy to find and access. We appreciated all of the hooks in the bedrooms to hang ski clothes to dry. Nice setup with a seating area on the main level that is open to the dining/kitchen area and a really nice living room, bar and smart TV in the lower level. Someone groomed a 2 mile ski trail around the bay, which was a nice surprise and fun little ski. Kitchen was well stocked and lots of towels provided. ……

We fished, kayaked, canoed, tried the paddle board, swam, read books, took naps, watched movies, played library and coffee shop, listened to music, and saw northern light and shooting stars while laying on the dock. Above all, we made good memories.”

“We loved the cabin and it was a peaceful place. The sound of the waterfall was really special and the neighbers weren't too close, just close enough to give you a feeling of security. The enclosed area for the dogs was super. We sat out there and the dogs could roam. That was great them not have to always be leashed. The hosts couldnt have been nicer. “We had a two-day stay at Cable Farm - 5 acres on trails with a private Sauna House. The host has done many things right with this wonderfully restored farmhouse. They've maintained the charm of the original, while including great updates where they count, like the comfortable newer bed in the spacious master bedroom. We especially enjoyed the sauna since the weather during our fall visit was unseasonably cold. It was easy to communicate with the host, who responded quickly to our questions. This……
