“We had a two-day stay at Cable Farm - 5 acres on trails with a private Sauna House. The host has done many things right with this wonderfully restored farmhouse. They've maintained the charm of the original, while including great updates where they count, like the comfortable newer bed in the spacious master bedroom. We especially enjoyed the sauna since the weather during our fall visit was unseasonably cold. It was easy to communicate with the host, who responded quickly to our questions. This……

“Great location on the western side of Round Lake, making it a short drive into Hayward. Easy to find and access. We appreciated all of the hooks in the bedrooms to hang ski clothes to dry. Nice setup with a seating area on the main level that is open to the dining/kitchen area and a really nice living room, bar and smart TV in the lower level. Someone groomed a 2 mile ski trail around the bay, which was a nice surprise and fun little ski. Kitchen was well stocked and lots of towels provided. ……
