“We stayed one night here. The hotel is situated just outside the main centre of Luderitz but is easily walkable. The room looked directly onto the sea. It is a modernish hotel. We did not use the pool area which appeared closed as the weather was not good enough. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing - wonderful seafood. Breakfast was very good the next day too. ”

“Hotel was up to standard of the company; however, the central area was not conducive to safe walking after dark. I was accosted by an unsuccessful 'Artful Dodger' during my 90 second walk from the only viable restaurant to the hotel. During the day such considerations were not apparent. The other Protea hotel on the lagoon would be preferable. ”
