“The StandardX combines the old school Fitzroy environment with a contemporary take on what it is to be an accommodation. It sits in the heart of Fitzroy, yet feels cozy and quiet like a suburban home allowing me to work, rest and relax any time of day. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail and attentiveness of the staff. Not to mention the rooftop view - absolutely stunning. The StandardX really seemed to have thought of it all while keeping it affordable and modern.”

“Staff are polite and smiling, beautiful accommodation, overlooking the park Good facilities with induction cooker, washing machine and dryer Cleaning service needs to be improved, towels not changed, no vacuuming... The makeup mirror has a fixed height, so short guests cannot use it.”

“I'm glad I chose to stay in this unit than a Hotel in the City. A nice home away from home. Bed and Pillows are comfortable. Bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean with beautiful Sandalwood bodywash. Towels are lush quality. ”

“Great place to stay Only annoying thing was the room key cards expired before the checkout time and had to go down to the reception to get them reprogrammed so we could load the car and checkout. This has happened here previously so maybe you shouldn't make the keys expire before the checkout time”

“Be careful of poor communication. Expect that no one will be there to hear and help you in case you need assistance. They should have good effcetive communication at least during the stay. I liked the surroundings but hotel could improve in their professional and responsible compnents. ”

“The room itself is small but tidy and clean. However, we are allocated in front of the access door to the stairs, and we could hear the noise of closing the door very loudly and sudden on and off especially during later at night. Therefore, I may suggest to avoid staying in a room close to the stair access for a better sleep at night. Other than that, it’s all good, and the Bluetooth speaker is nice and convenient to use in the room.”

“The hotel room is modern and cozy, however the soundproof is terrible as I can almost hear everything from my next door, and the door of shower does not sealed properly so there is always a flood after each shower. I commented this to the staffs when I was checking out, and apparently it is a known issue if you are unlucky enough as myself to get one of the connected rooms without any prior notification.”
