“I love this home and the location! The grounds are gorgeous amidst a bunch of pine trees. It was so pleasant sitting on the top deck listening to the wind rustling the pines. The house is spacious and comfortable for my two adult children, one DIL, two grandchildren, my husband and I. There are swings for the kids to play on. I loved soaking in the large tub in the master bathroom. The home is located in a very well maintained RV Park that has a fishing pond. The RVs are far enough away not to……

“The home was very clean and offered plenty of space for our group. However, there was a strong smell. Maybe from being shut up for an extended period of time? One of the boys in our group said “it smells like old people in here.” I would have to agree that it was definitely a smell like an older home has sometimes. Not as well stocked as many similar properties we’ve stayed in, but had a few items handy (paper towels, toothpaste, soap). One big one is coffee! There is a pot and filters, but……

The rooms are generously sized, and the bathrooms feel luxurious. There was plenty of space for all of us, and the beds were very comfortable.The home's proximity to downtown was a huge bonus. When I mentioned how much I loved the coffee shop on the square, the host even gave me a coupon—such a thoughtful touch!We will definitely be back!”

“We stayed at the property over Easter weekend with family. There were four adults and two teens, and more than enough room for all of us. We were met upon arrival and given a tour of the property and shown how to use some of the things on site. There are a lot of original things to the period it was built, and the images on the listing show off some of the highlights of the property. We enjoyed exploring, playing hide and seek, and relaxing with the family. There were a couple of negatives, but……

“My boys and I stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and it was just what we needed. Even though there was a freeze warning at night while we were there, the house was nice and warm! The house had everything we needed, and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog! The weather was great during the day and we drove to Caddo Lake a couple times and ate in Jefferson. The Lake Cafe had wonderful breakfast! We will definitely be back! ”
