“If you are looking for a central place to stay so you can visit the surrounding areas, i.e. New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, then this is the spot. A updated cottage with 1 bedroom, kitchen, diningroom, a huge bathroom with washer & dryer. You have your own separate driveway from the host's main house. The shared covered patio beautifully lit at night was a excellent place for grilling. There is a private hot tub located in the back overlooking the bayou. Lots of great food around. ……

“We all had a great stay! My only recommendation would be to spray the perimeter of the house to keep the outside bugs outside. It’s a beautiful house and we were very comfortable and the neighborhood felt safe. I would definitely recommend it and would rebook it in the future.”

“I liked the house, it is really cute. The host was great. It could use a couple things to make it better. 2 rooms had TV's. 2 didn't. There are no dressers or hangers. I feel like if there aren't dressers there should be hangers. The ceiling fans don't run unless the lights are on. It would be better if they could still run without all the ceiling lights. It can get kind of warm upstairs. And the backyard could use more seating. Maybe a few patio chairs. These aren't complaints at all. Just……
