I left before the sun was up and returned after it went down so I can't give much info on the area. The cabin was just what I needed, a place to sleep and shower and I love the dog! ”

“We stayed for a week in this comfortable efficiency just outside the Rumbling Bald Resort. We enjoyed the resort amenities and using this comfortable efficiency as our base for local travels. Haven't slept this well in years - comfy, quiet. Highly recommend!”

“We have stayed at Appel Valley Villas a couple times now. Even though the space is small, there’s everything you need. We did notice that the comforter needed to be washed and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases, otherwise no real issues. We will be coming back to visit soon.”

Clean and quiet, and very private. Thermostatically controlled gas log fireplace for cold morning coffee was awesome!!! Glenda was so accommodating, we love her!”
