“This is a beautiful home with lovely views of the lake. We booked the house so we could attend our daughter’s graduation from Kenyon and found it was just what we needed to regroup between events. It is only about 10 minutes from campus and has a fully equipped open concept kitchen so we were able to have some of our meals away from the overbooked restaurants and dining hall meals. The house is well represented on the website. The photos are accurate but it is even nicer in person. So glad we……

“We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful—immaculately clean, cozy, and clearly well cared for. The surrounding land was peaceful and secluded, which made for a truly relaxing getaway. It was just what we needed.The only thing we hadn’t expected was how close the owners' home was to the rental; they’re right next door. That said, they were very friendly and respectful of our space, only using the barn's driveway a couple of times during our stay.It was also a little tricky to find the road……

“We had a wonderful time at this property. The home is newly renovated with modern touches and also included a lot of retro features. We had plenty of room for six people, all the bedrooms had plenty of space, and the beds were very comfortable. All the rooms had natural light, the views were beautiful, and this will be a great place to visit when the weather is warmer to enjoy the outdoor seating. The home is also very close to all the Amish Country stores. We highly recommend this property!”

“The house needs a little TLC, but overall it was okay if you’re not too picky. Other than that, it’s as described. One thing that I didn’t expect was the sound of the nearby road when you’re trying to sleep. That is personal preference and it may not bother you. Maxx was easy to contact and responsive. ”
