“This property was the perfect getaway. The home has been completely renovated and is clean, bright, and decorated very tastefully with modern decor and furniture. “ We spent two wonderful nights in the Hocking Hills, and one bright winter day walking through four separate caves amidst snow, frozen waterfalls, and spectacular hiking. Our house was perfect and our host, Kevin, was extremely communicative and helpful in every way possible. This was a five-start experience for two couples in their 70s.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Liberty Retreat. With my wife being a house cleaner, cleanliness is huge for us and we were very happy with everything. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans and seasonings for us to cook all of our meals there. Loved the hot tub and the trails were cool to walk through. We would definitely stay again, especially when the weather is a little warmer! ”

“We were only there for one night for a concert so we were only at the space to sleep but the location was great, the space was very clean and the communication with the host was great! The only downside is the parking is extremely tight and we didn’t even have a large SUV, but we figured that out too and still had a great stay!”

“There was a room for everyone, no bunking up together. Great location! We were close to everywhere we wanted to go. House description does say basic pots & pans. We wish we had another larger pan or two. We made breakfast before we headed out each day and we needed another. The living room was wonderful to sit together & visit.”

“Clean house and comfortable beds in a nice location, but the main bathroom is fairly small and the shower/bathtub is pretty basic. Some broken blinds in the bedrooms allowed a distracting amount of light from the security lights next door. Good value for the price.”

“We rented the house for our family Christmas get-together. We were after a place large enough for everyone to spread out, have personal space, gather together, eat and play games, and have fun. It met every box on our check list. The property was just as described if not even better! The living areas were absolutely amazing - each offering the most amazing view of wide open spaces, sunrise and sunset views! Plenty of room to spread out.Curtains were available where they were necessary.……

“This was our third cabin we’ve tried in the Hocking area and loved it! We were there over the Valentine’s weekend and didn’t have the best weather. Unfortunately we didn’t get an opportunity to take advantage of the pond, but it was a nice visual! Loved everything about the place!”
