“The photos definitely misrepresent the quality of the property. The house is very dirty (lots of stains) and a little on the creepier side. However, if you have a good group of friends who can have fun anywhere, you’ll enjoy the rental.”

“Vassar visitors: stay here! Le Chambord is comfortable and well-maintained. It is a historic property that has clearly been well kept by the Curry sisters! The bedroom was HUGE - furnished beautifully with a desk, dresser, couch, chair, mini-fridge, closet, and a king sized bed. The bathroom was fabulously renovated with a new shower, floor tiles, and countertop. The parlor has a beautiful chess board and Scrabble set - we sat and played in the morning. “This property was perfect for a trip to NYC as it is located 5 minutes from the train station. We were able to take the train to Yankee Stadium and that was about 30 minutes. The train stops right at the stadium! We also took the train into Grand Central then took a short walk to Times Square to catch a Broadway Show. I highly recommend this place! ”

Everything was exceptionally clean, and the staff were not only professional but also genuinely kind and helpful throughout our visit. The only downside was the lack of soundproofing—we could occasionally hear noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway. That said, it didn’t take away too much from an otherwise relaxing and enjoyable experience. Would definitely return!”
