“Excellent food and good service. Room 4 is a good size and well appointed. A/C heater works well. The bathroom/wet room was a little bit tired. Breakfast had a good choice and was cooked fresh. Location was convenient for driving. Would use again if in the area. ”

“An amazing experience in a charming town. We loved The Bell Inn and all its rich and fascinating history. The rooms were great and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food at the Inn restaurant was great and if you like blue cheese this is the place to try their famous Stilton Blue Cheese.We had our Saint Bernard with us and everyone catered to our dog as if she was there own. Lovely experience and we would definitely return soon.”

“The hotel is faded (think 1980s) but clean. The manager told me that the redecoration is is in process.The staff were lovely, as was the swimming pool and steam room. The weather was dreadful so we couldn't explore the grounds but if the price is right, we will probably go back, so may have another opportunity!”

“Hotel was clean, staff friendly, and was close to the city centre. Breakfast was average, a good selection but as it was buffet style its hit and miss. Room was spacious, shower had good pressure but the shower door was not the best and the water was spraying out on the bathroom floor. Bed was a good size but the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were not the softest too. Overall we were impressed with the hotel and would definitely stay again. ”
