“Quite a warm welcome from the guy at the reception, spoke English fluently. Told us we had 10% off at the nearby restaurant, which was great. The outside is not that fancy, however the receptionist told us it will be redone somewhere in April or May.”

“Accueil très agréable à notre arrivée. La chambre est petite mais possède tout le nécessaire et tout est très propre. Le seul bémol fut une fenêtre qui ne s'ouvrait pas et le volet roulant électrique était un peu capricieux. Le personnel nous a apporté un ventilateur car il faisait chaud sans que nous n'ayons rien demandé c'était très gentil. Nous avons très bien dormi. Je recommande cet hôtel.”

“Un accueil très agréable. Une déco qui change de l'ordinaire, le sport automobile, on a été fan! La disponibilité et la réactivité de l'ensemble du personnel nous a charmé. “Merzig was, for my family, an overnight stop both to and from Rettenberg. The hotel was quickly found from the motorway and parking was available. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and pleasant. That breakfast was included was a bonus and there was a good choice of well prepared tasty food. Staff were welcoming, pleasant and helpful. If all Holiday Inn Expresses are as good, they will be my future choice on my journeys.”
