“We were in town for a wedding, so we added an extra day to explore Harrisburg. The house I chose is river front and at the end of a quiet street. The location could not have been any better, 2 miles from downtown, with a wonderful river view. We spent the day walking along the river and enjoying the nearby park, historical monuments and the local restaurants. The house is older but quaint. “I spent three nights at this location, enjoying the proximity to Italian Lake and the river just a few blocks away! It is a pleasant 35ish minute walk to midtown. Consider visiting Broad Street Market, Midtown Scholar, Susquehanna Art Museum, the Yellow Bird Cafe, or Midtown Cinema as a part of your trip!
