“Such a cozy, well-appointed place! The perfect size and location for what we needed. No need for a car—we were walking distance from downtown Raleigh, and a quick scooter/bike ride from the bus station to get to Durham. Strolling the historic Oakwood neighborhood in the morning was lovely. Definitely check out the brunch at Longleaf Swine right on the corner—it blew us away. We couldn’t wait to get back to The Acorn at the end of a long day. And as coffee people, we especially appreciated the……

“Great location for travel to Duke and downtown Durham. One point of improvement are the couch cushions, two of which smelled like someone ran a half-marathon then immediately sat down to rest for an hour.”

“The kitchen utensils were limited, old or dirty. Not having a coffee machine takes a lot away. However, there was an old dirty kettle and instant coffee. There were two rolls of toilet tissue between 2 bathrooms for 4 people. This place was pretty but felt like an abandoned home. Nothing said "Hospitality". Didnt have wifi. They gave us 2 different networks and passwords and neither worked. I have Verizon and everyone else had T-mobile and service in the area was bad. It nay not have……

“I stayed here for the weekend while some work was being done on my house, and it was perfect. It's small (obviously, since it's a studio), but it's SO cute and perfect for either a solo or couples' getaway. It has everything you'd need for a short stay, coffee maker, fridge, hair dryer, etc. I didn't meet the host, but she was super friendly and communicative, and gave very specific directions for how to get into the apartment. Would definitely book here again if the need arises.”
