“Had my crew of 4 stay there when we had a build close by. Host was very responsive, accommodating and communication was great. The house was nice and had everything we needed. I had no complaints from my crew. We were commuting to MA so don't have much to say about the area or town.”

“Great place for a quick escape. Quiet area with a great pond and hiking! Super clean. The pond is clear and serene, a short walk down the road from the bungalow. The cabin is adorable, but I would have loved a few more curtains; the windows are very open. Also, the place begs for lamps, especially for reading; only overhead lighting, which is a but harsh. ”

“Very convenient...5 minutes to center of Francestown with Village Store for necessities. Very close to a couple of taverns. Only had a brief stay, but would have enjoyed the fireplaces if the weather was cool enough.”

Left voice message the day checking in but no call back. Wanted to say boat was too hard to get into the water and we rented a motor that was not there. Kitchen is well stocked and just missing a few items but all the rest fantastic and great views!”

“The property did not indicate this was a top floor condo. I have mobility issues and this was a real problem. There were several hairs on the bed sheets. I contacted the manager and he never responded. Washed everything myself including the mattress pad which had flakey debris on it, because we couldn’t just leave and lose our . Plus all our heavy luggage was painstakingly brought upstairs at this point. After a 5 night stay we still never heard from the Manager. This is not acceptable. ……

“We all had a wonderful stay at the Troy House! Linda was so informative and kind she helped provide all of the details we needed for our stay! We selected the Troy House for its proximity to a dirt-bike camp in Winchester NH that my son and his two friends were attending for the week. Not only was the house perfectly stocked beds were extremely comfortable. The entire home was very clean and cozy for when we got home from a long day at camp.Linda was there to greet us at check in and she had all……

“This was our second trip to the lake house. Love the new sitting area overlooking the lake. It turned out to be a chilly week so we didn't spend much time on the lake. The hot tub on the other hand was perfect! Already looking forward to next year!”

“There was a bit of a mix up during the check in process, but it was straightened out. Luckily for us this was trip to catch up with family and friends so we could go somewhere to figure it out, as there is no service without the wifi. The house is gorgeous, clean and spacious inside. There is some sort of day camp (?) thing going on at the property next to it, so kids are running around and swimming in that area all day. It wasn’t bothersome to us. “This spot has it all. Kitchen, laundry, living room tv as well as bedroom tv! There was even a hot tub on my balcony! I think it's shared with the person who stays below me, but I am not sure. Either way, very cool! Things to know - there is no restaurant in town, aside from the golf course restaurant, and it's a drive over non-paved roads to get to the closest ones. “This is a lovely, quiet place to stay. The internet connection is not great, so if you’re wanting an offline vacation, it's perfect. If you need to work while there, maybe not. The place is very comfy and the host very responsive. I really enjoyed my time there.”
