Garbage in the parking lot, stains on the room curtains, room smelled like cigarettes, mold in the tub, and toilet roll broken off. Garbage next to ice machine over flowing for 2 days. Bar closed 3 days I was there. Not sure where the previous good reviews came from because the place was terrible. Beware

When we were checking in at the front desk, the guy who checked us in basically requested my Id and explained the $50 deposit that was needed and it will be refunded back to the card. Well instead of inserting my card i used the tap option which was available. He said no don't use tap because it will take up to 3 weeks to remove the hold on on your card. I bank with Chime. He stated to me out loud in front of my boyfriend that Chime is not a real bank which was very embarrasing and i politely told him that is not a problem but it didnt stop me from feeling embarrassed because no one asked him if Chime was a real bank or not he just up and said it. The room only had one trash can bin which was located inside of the bathroom. There was no remote for the tv and my boyfriend had to go downstairs to retrieve one. There was no microwave in the room. He had to go downstairs to warm my food. The remote they gave us didn't work properly. The buttons were hard to press. The wifi was trash. The curtains were very spotty and dirty. The only thing that was clean was the bedding and bathroom. By the way, the guy at the front desk stated that CHIME wasn't a real bank and I wouldn't receive my $50 for up to 3 weeks and i literally received it back within 2 days. I won't be staying at Clarion ever again.

The first room that was given to us was not cleaned. There was trash bag near the door entrance and in the bathroom. The second room that was given to us was better. The lady at the front desk apologized about the situation. If you are a light sleeper, don’t stay here you will hear planes flying in and out of MSY all day/night. There was a lot of parking space. The location was closed to many restaurants and tourist activities.

They were very unprofessional. I communicated through and through due to my flight cancellations and delay. Just for me to get to the hotel and they had cancelled my room and marked me as a no call no show. I have phone logs and messages for a paper trail.

Very friendly & accommodating staff. The room was fairly cleaned...could have used a little more detail to the cleaning. The bed was very comfortable. The hallway outside our room smelled like marijuana. There was no restaurant at the hotel except for breakfast. This hotel is close to the airport and we were flying not driving so it was an inconvenience that there was no where to eat dinner. Apparently they have food in their bar but only Wed - Sat. We were there Sunday.

Upon arrival, we were assigned to a room with a broken toilet. They came to try to fix it, but said they didn’t have the part so moved us to a room with no windows. When we requested a room with the window, they told us we were lucky to have a room at all. The second night there were so many loud parties that they did nothing about. We hardly slept in our sensory deprivation room. Zero out of 10.
