“Beautiful place, close to town. Unfortunately, we put the umbrella on the back deck up and the wind came - glass top broke on the table! Felt so bad. Owner was kind, we did leave money to help replace it. If we come again, we would stay here again - great place!”

“We had four guys stay at this lake cottage and had a fun time fishing the lake. The accommodations are very nice and everything felt really clean. The only downside is the Chanel where we kept our boat was very weedy and it made it hard to fish off the dock. Other than that we had a fantastic time. ”

“Heron's Perch was a great spot for our family reunion. Such a cute, little cottage with something for everyone-games, kayaks, fishing, beautiful sunsets, etc., not to mention close by options in Shipshewana and Middlebury. The owners, who have a seasonal home next door, were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! ”

“This is our 3rd year staying in this cottage and it is just right for our family of four. There is nothing fancy but all is just right. Super communication back and forth with the host. Thanks so much!!”

“Our family had a fantastic stay. The home was very clean. Enough room for everyone to stretch out. The two kitchens were very helpful. We really enjoyed the game room and pickleball court. We look forward to returning. ”

“The house is really lovely! We enjoyed staying there so much and the owners were so accommodating and friendly! Staying there reminded me of staying at my grandma and grandpas farmhouse when i was a little girl. Its so special my kids could have a taste of those types of experience like climbing up those stairs, the secret nooks and catching lightning bugs in the evening. It was a perfect location for us too! We hope we can stay here again sometime!”

“We had a wonderful stay at this property. Best location on the lake. We fished successfully right off of the pier. Plenty of room inside for conversation and rainy days. The stove in the kitchen is gem with a grill on it. Good communication with the owner. We would stay again for sure.”
