“I was looking for a hotel late on Sunday evening in winter. The check-in person was available by phone from the front door. He was very helpful. The room was simple, but clean. The bathroom was fine.”

“We didn’t realize this was so rural. But it was really only a short drive to a restaurant. We needed to leave early for a bicycle tour and they were so accommodating serving us breakfast very early. The room was pretty, clean and comfortable. Properly named as it did seem like home. ”

“This is a great location, good property grounds. It’s clear the owners care about the place! We will be back. The only negative is that it would have been nice to have the coffee on earlier! Route 40 can be a bit noisy, but it wasn’t that bad. ”

Lobby was tidy, front desk was friendly, then I got to the room and it was remarkably clean. No dust or smudges, bed was tight. Honestly, bested the Marriott and Hilton properties I've stayed in the last few years. ”
