“Overall, the stay was pretty good. The house was well kept and beautiful. I just wish the owner was a bit more responsive because the heat in the house was not consistent. It was 20 degrees outside and no matter what you changed the thermostat to, the top floor felt like a sauna and the bottom floor was freezing. When we were sleeping, we had to open the windows of the bedrooms to not get smothered by heat, and it was specifically unbearable in my case being on the top bunk, near the ceiling……

The only complaint would be that someone didn’t check the supply of consumables very well, and we only had two trash bags for the kitchen. “My girlfriend and I booked Dove Nook for a little getaway in early spring and could not have been happier. The cabin has everything you could need, and the property has amenities to spare. You have full run of the grounds, including feeding all the cute animals. Alyssa, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful, and provided us with a bag of feed for the animals and a bunch of fresh eggs for cooking. “Perfect size for me and my partner. Our favorite part was relaxing in the huge whirlpool bath! The unit smelled clean as soon as we went in and the home is extremely cozy. The fireplace was a nice touch when we were winding down at night. The location is extremely convenient and walking distance from the main town. We had such a great time and Jeff was super prompt with his responses and provided lots of recommendations. Thank you for having us, Jeff! Will book again in the future.”
