“The apartment was clean, the kitchen contained all the necessary items, the bed was very comfortable. The television worked only sporadically. The noise from the parking lot just outside my window was considerable, from the emptying of a dumpster at 6:30 am to the 1 am passing of one of the many freight trains on the track just the other side of the parking lot. The management agreed to my request for a 1 hour delayed check out time, but I wasn't informed in time to alter my plans. All things……

“This little houseboat was so cute. Everything worked as expected. It was so romantic to be able to sit on the back of the boat and fish all night with my wife. Everything was perfect. Everyone we meet was so nice. If I had only one recommendation if you stay on this boat, take you a bed topper or something, it wasn’t a very thick mattress. The second night we slept a lot better. But we will definitely be back. I think this is going to be a favorite place to spend time and making memories. Also……

“We held a family reunion with 14 adults and 6 toddlers / infants and this was one of the only places available in the Dallas / Ft Worth metro. If you are looking for a no-frills spot to just hang around the house together, this one is for you. The pool was a hit, but the host does nickle-and-dime you with a charge by the hour for the hot tub (it does get hot quickly). The house is in okay condition, but it could use some improvements.
