“Very nice resort. Our room was very clean although I will mention that there was kind of a musty smell so we felt the need to open the windows quite a bit to get fresh air. There are screens on the windows so that was not an issue. Breakfast was really nice so was the pool and hot tub. “We loved this hotel and will be returning. PROS: The room was very spacious, clean, well decorated, and modern. There was a fridge in the room. Wall mounted air conditioning control. Great breakfast (scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, potatoes, sausage, etc). There is a nice gym and indooor pool. The hotel looked great. I could not believe this is rated only as a 2-star hotel - it should be at least a 3-star hotel. A short walk to restaurants. Reasonable pricing. CONS: none”

“My husband and I came into town for a wedding and not knowing the area we chose The New World Inn. We were very impressed with the kind, welcoming manner of the owner and how clean and comfortable the place and the beds were. The shower was better than mine at home! We had a nice balcony off our room which we used in the morning and evening. My husband liked the choices of the breakfast. He also loved the freshness of the coffee. I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone staying in the area.”

“it is a charming property which is 250 years old. Everyone is friendly and cheerful and it has a very calm atmosphere. Some of the paintings and decor are exceptional. The road is a little bit noisy. That was probably the biggest negative. But the chairs is comfortable and it’s a very nice environment.”

“Was on our bucket list and glad we finally made the reservation. Loved this B&B for a romantic getaway. Well maintained property with historic appeal. Welcoming staff on arrival - felt personal and inviting. The Hampshire room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Old English vibe. Dinner and the complimentary breakfast were delicious. Enjoyed walking around the property and playing some of the outdoor games. Definitely will be back.”
